Wristwarmers for Photographers

By Dorene Sykes

Do you ever get cold hands after hours of Photoshop editing, or while trying to shoot photos outside in the winter? I just knitted a pair of fuzzy llama/wool wrist warmers, or fingerless mittens, that I highly recommend. They keep my hands and wrists warm and cozy while freeing up my fingers (besides being fun to wear!). They also cushion my wrist nicely while using a mouse. It just took me about 6 hours to knit a pair. The pattern is at http://slumberland.org/patterns/1-day-wristwarmers.pdf. Also, to warm up my fingers while shooting outdoors, I keep a pair of heat packs in my pockets.
